In 1986, the romanian footbal soccer team Steaua Bucharest won the European Champions Cup, in the great final against the powerfull FC Barcelona. Later on, they also beat Dinamo Kiev for the European Super-Cup.

Only few Romanian actors reached the level of Marcel Iures, who also played until now in several mega-productions from Hollywood, such as “Interview with a Vampire” (1994), “Mission Impossible” (1997) and last but not least in the negative but profound role from”Peacemaker” (1997), with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman.
